Meet Dr. Bridget
Bridget Vander Woude is a naturopathic doctor who graduated from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. As a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine with an undergraduate degree in philosophy, Dr. Bridget provides a truly integrated and holistic approach to the health of the whole person. She was trained in an integrative primary care setting with a focus on the management of pediatric and women’s health concerns. Dr. Bridget spent many years as the Chief Wellness Officer at Reform, a Catholic wellness apostolate and functional medicine practice. In this time, she gained extensive experience in educating and guiding others in a Christ-centered approach to health through online courses, webinars, seminars, and private client care.
Bridget was first drawn to natural medicine by her desire to honor the glory of God’s creation and the wonder of the human body. Her own curiosity for understanding how and why dysfunction happens, led her to seek an approach to healing that considered the root cause and aligned with dignity of the whole human person. Homegrown Holistic was created to share this approach with those in need and to help others discover how to live in accord with the rhythms of nature and God’s design.
